Our health care system is in crisis. Families are losing their insurance and the cost of prescriptions far exceed reason.

It is the states that have the primary responsibility for health insurance regulation to include capping insurance premiums and limiting prescription drug costs. Other states have been successful. I will work to do the same.
We must work to ensure that every child under the age of 18 is eligible for basic health care. Ensure that all Seniors under 150% of poverty have health insurance and assistance with prescription help.
I favor a three-tiered coverage plan: private, federal, and state. We should maximize and augment the employer based system with refundable tax credits and use federal subsidies to cover low and moderate income earners who lack insurance.
